Relay for Life
Through the Years

For 4 years (2005-2008), Jordan organized his own Relay for Life team while he was in remission from cancer as well as when he was going through chemotherapy and other treatment. He dedicated so much of his time to finding ways to raise money for this one event that meant so much to him. He raised money through bake sales, poker tournaments, Battle of the Band galas, etc. In 2008, Jordan was honored as the top fundraiser, raising over $10,000 (both individually and as a team) for the Plainview-Old Bethpage Relay for Life. In 2009, a team was formed in Jordan's honor with the name Jordan's Footsteps. The team had over 300 members and raised over $12,000. We hope to form a team in Jordan's honor for years to come in order to further a cause in which Jordan so strongly believed.
